Nancy G. McConnell, CHC, CPC

A principal with Gates, Moore & Company, Nancy specializes in strategic planning for group practices and healthcare delivery systems, compliance, practice mergers, and hospital/physician relationships.  Joining Gates, Moore & Company in 1985, Nancy has worked with hundreds of physicians and hospitals to establish new solo or group medical practices, conduct comprehensive practice evaluations, provide fair market valuations, develop physician compensation terms, and provide advisory services for the ongoing successful management of practices.

Nancy is certified in healthcare compliance through the Health Care Compliance Association. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Medical Group Management Association and is a Founding Member of the Atlanta MGMA. She is also certified in coding through the American Academy of Professional Coders.

She has spoken on various topics including medical practice valuations, fair market valuations, physician compensation, Medicare billing, and financial controls.

Nancy McConnell holds a BS degree in Accounting from Georgia College & State University.  Prior to joining Gates, Moore & Company, Nancy's experience in the healthcare field included working as a business manager for internal medicine and ophthalmology practices for seven years.
